About Our Capybaras

Capybaras are the world's largest rodents and some of the friendliest animals you'll ever meet! Native to South America, these gentle giants can weigh up to 140 pounds and are semi-aquatic, spending much of their time in or near water.

Known for their calm, relaxed demeanor, capybaras are highly social animals that live in groups. They're famous on the internet for getting along with almost every other animal species - and you'll see why when you meet ours!

With their barrel-shaped bodies, webbed feet, and adorable faces, capybaras are expert swimmers and can hold their breath underwater for up to 5 minutes. They love munching on grasses and aquatic plants throughout the day.
