Tortoises
Ancient, gentle giants with timeless wisdom
Meet Our Tortoises
Tortoises are remarkable reptiles that have walked the Earth for millions of years. These gentle giants move slowly and deliberately, carrying their protective shells wherever they go. Don\'t let their slow pace fool you - tortoises are intelligent and aware!
Our tortoises love basking in the sun and munching on fresh vegetables and greens. They\'re surprisingly interactive - many of our tortoises will approach visitors for gentle head scratches or to investigate interesting smells!
Watching tortoises is a wonderfully calming experience. Their slow, methodical movements and ancient presence remind us to slow down and appreciate the moment. Kids especially love feeding our friendly tortoises!
