Miniature Potbellied Pigs
Intelligent, social, and surprisingly clean
Meet Our Miniature Potbellied Pigs
Our Miniature Potbellied Pigs are among the most intelligent and charming animals on the farm! Originally from Vietnam, these compact pigs typically weigh 70-150 pounds and are known for their distinctive pot-shaped bellies, swayed backs, and adorable faces.
Potbellied pigs are incredibly smart - even smarter than dogs! They're highly social, naturally clean animals who only roll in mud to cool down since they can't sweat. Our pigs love attention and can learn tricks quickly.
From belly rubs to scratch sessions behind the ears, our potbellied pigs know how to enjoy the good life. They each have distinct personalities and will happily greet you with cheerful grunts and snorts!

Fun Potbellied Pig Facts
Originated in Vietnam
Potbellied pigs were first domesticated in Vietnam and came to the US in the 1980s as exotic pets.
Their bellies serve a purpose
That distinctive pot belly helps them store fat and aids digestion of their plant-heavy diet.
They're not actually "mini"
Full-grown potbellies weigh 70-150 lbs - much smaller than farm pigs (600+ lbs) but not tiny!
Potbellies keep growing for 3-5 years
Unlike dogs, potbellied pigs aren't fully grown until age 3-5, so babies will get much bigger!
They can live 15-20 years
Potbellied pigs are a long-term commitment - they often outlive dogs!
Poor eyesight, amazing nose
Potbellies have weak vision but can smell food buried 25 feet underground!

Diet
Pigs are omnivores with hearty appetites! We feed our pigs a balanced diet of grains, vegetables, and specially formulated pig feed to ensure they get all necessary nutrients. They especially love fresh fruits and vegetables as treats.
Housing
Our pigs have spacious pens with shelters for shade and protection from weather. We provide mud wallows for cooling off in summer and plenty of clean straw bedding for comfort in their sleeping areas.
Social Needs
Pigs are highly social animals who love companionship. They form close bonds with other pigs and enjoy group activities like rooting and exploring together. Our pigs thrive in their social groups!
