Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you're late, that time cuts into your experience - no extensions can be given. All animals are on schedules that cannot be interfered with for the safety and comfort of our animals.
Animal-Led Experience: This is an animal-led experience. Capybaras and porcupines choose how they participate, and behaviors may include resting, exploring, gentle movement, or observing their surroundings. Interaction levels may vary from visit to visit, and specific behaviors are not guaranteed. Staff guide the entire session, support calm interaction when appropriate, and prioritize animal comfort at all times.

Can I touch both animals?
Our staff will guide you on appropriate interactions with each animal. Some may allow gentle touching while others are best observed up close. Safety for both guests and animals is our priority!
Are porcupine quills dangerous?
When you follow our staff's instructions, the encounter is perfectly safe! Porcupines don't "shoot" their quills - they only come out when touched. You'll learn safe ways to interact during your visit.
How much time should I allow?
The encounter itself is 30 minutes. If you'd like to explore the rest of our farm (highly recommended!), add General Admission to your booking and plan for 2-3 hours total.
Is this suitable for children?
Yes! All ages are welcome. This is an educational and engaging experience for the whole family. Note: you must pay for everyone regardless of age.
