Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. If you're late, that time cuts into your experience - no extensions can be given. All animals are on schedules that cannot be interfered with for the safety and comfort of our animals.
Hands-On Animal Experience: Because this is a hands-on animal experience, guests should be comfortable with close interaction. Coatimundis may explore using their mouths or claws, and minor nips or scratches can occur as part of normal, non-aggressive animal behavior. While staff closely supervise all interactions, this experience may not be suitable for guests who are uncomfortable with the possibility of minor scratches or playful animal exploration.
About the Experience
This unique encounter brings together two fascinating species! Coatimundis are members of the raccoon family native to Central and South America, known for their long, ringed tails and curious personalities. 3-Banded Armadillos are the only armadillos that can roll into a complete ball, with armor made of overlapping bony plates!
During this 30-minute encounter, you'll get to meet both species up close, learn about their unique behaviors, and even feed them under staff supervision.
